The Machine Stops

I felt as though this read was very packed and unbeleivable that it was written during the time it was. The story was relatable to the people of today with the reference to concepts of today. It was hard to wrap my head around the idea of concepts of today being thought of back then. My interpretation of why we read this story would be for the purpose of seeing the effect that technology has on people and an era.
